Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
Now is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be available during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often go through). It's also the first to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot to mop we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app which lets you schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.
The design is also better than the other models. It features a sleek, high-end piece that looks like toys rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to speed up cleaning.
In our tests, we observed that the j7+ quickly took away dirt, dust, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It even could catch small gravel and sand that other robots aren't able to do. And all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.
The j7+, although not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it cannot clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who want both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update actually working until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking to purchase a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best option is probably hybrid. This category of bots typically has a built-in water tank, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your home at the same time. They also come with various additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock makes several of our top robotic vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't disappoint. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the luxurious features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as wall legs and table legs which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. self cleaning vacuum in the Q5+ is superb and has very few missing in corners and along walls.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labels of rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, however, once it's in place, emptying the bin can be done easily. It also has a large LCD display which is great to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for most people, but it's one that will help you keep the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the most innovative in the market however it's quite expensive.
It's a small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.
And its vacuuming is impressive, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tested that does well at picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's not able climb stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.
Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price tag.
If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. Many eufy models cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper however it comes with many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets with low pile as well as high-pile ones.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted flooring, and a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to set it up, simply attach one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. robot vacuum sale 'll need to leave the dock close to a power outlet and plenty of room to allow it to move around however.
The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it can fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. The design is more modest than other models, and features sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in an arc for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The primary characteristic that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It uses an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable items that are in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has similar battery life and performs better on unfinished carpet or floors with low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as often and comes with an array of boundary strips to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand is more affordable and much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and it has less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
